Ramirez: A Textual Challenge to Felon Disenfranchisement

What counts now is not what we can interpret from the 14th Amendment. We have to go by what is right and wrong with what is wrong with the U.S. Constitution and all the exclusionary laws passed by Congress and the States to ruin the lives of otherwise good people. The right to vote should be a right which comes in with being a U.S. Citizen. Neither our founding fathers nor anyone of us can pick and choose who has that right. Who were they, our founding fathers, anyway to impose upon millions of us what to do and what is a crime and what is not a crime.
Most of the laws,Federal and States are oppressive and must be changed. Our legislators don't want to fair with us and change these punitive laws then it's up to the people to demand that they be changed.
